Every child deserves the chance to live their Dream.

Many Thanks to our donors and supporters out there

Dear Carolyn and Jocelyn,

Thank you so much for your School bag donations to Same Blood Orphanage of Africa.. All the school bags donated to the orphans are appreciated and will be put to good use. Your thoughts and kind support as a kid show the level of emotion you (Jocelyn) have for others. If you allow us at SBOA to say “God will bless you and your mother, you will continue to find favor in the sight of God”.

Dear Scherryll and Union Avenue church,

Re- Kloberdanz grant:

Kate Abitogun and the Same Blood Orphanage of Africa (SBOA) want to sincerely thank you and the entire Union Avenue church and the Kloberdanz representatives for the grant awarded SBOA towards the Container fees to ship the orphans items needed to meet their educational, medical, and daily amenities to survive in a country of hardship.

We continue to receive uncountable goods, non-perishable food items and school supplies from volunteer donors sent to support the orphans in Akure Nigeria. We are forever grateful for your past and present support of this mission.

Thanks to Midwest Mission Distribution Center for all the school bags, school, supplies, books, school desks and many other imaginable items for the livelihood of the orphans.

Thanks to the Hospital Sisters distribution center for the infirmary set up.

Mission

Same Blood Orphanage of Africa (SBOA) is a not for profit organization whose mission is to save underserved orphans 0-18 years of age who live on the streets of Akure and its’ community, Nigeria in West Nigeria.  These homeless children are targeted victims of child labor, sexual solicitation, HIV/AIDS and who have either been orphaned by parents with AIDS or parents who have succumbed to the disease.  We will also help the parents who are on the streets with their children, especially those with teenage pregnancy.

Our main objective is to provide these orphans with a safe and caring home environment, conducive to healing and learning.  We will empower these children through professional supervised practical interventions and wellness programs, for the prevention and treatment of HIV and other childhood diseases.  We hope to further our services through partnerships and networks that work together to provide state of the art credential approved educational programs to meet every child needs.  SBOA provides services without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age or disability.
